PESHAWAR, April 3: PML-N has alleged that the US President Bush has started a crusade against the Muslims by imposing curbs on the Khan Research Laboratories, party’s provincial president Pir Sabir Shah told party leaders on Thursday.

He said President Bush’s allegation against Pakistan of transferring nuclear technology to Iran and Korea, were the indications that the US had launched a crusade against the Muslim countries, a press release said. These allegations are levelled against Pakistan, but the whole Ummah would face such allegations in the days to come.

The US wanted to eliminate the Ummah from the global scene and it would endeavour to finish off the Muslim countries one after another, Mr Shah added.

The former chief minister said the rulers had failed to cope with the delicate international political scenario, which had disappointed the people. He feared that after Iraq, Pakistan would be targeted by the US, for which, he said the responsibility rested with the rulers.

The government, he said, supported the US against Afghanistan and now Iraq that amounted to supporting Jews, who were bitter enemies of Islam. Had we been in government, we would not have assisted the US, he said.
