MANSEHRA, Dec 3: Two persons were killed in a clash between two drivers in Guger Galley, some 20km from here, on Monday, police sources said.

A driver, Mian Shah Hussain, resident of Shakahabad, of a Suzuki trailer (KH 1787), wanted to overtake a Toyota Hiace (Peshawar 2405), near Guger Galley, but the Toyota driver Mohammad Riaz, cleared the way after covering some distance. After taking over the Hiace, the Suzuki driver did the same thing and blocked the road for the Hiace.

Soon afterwards, both the drivers came out of their vehicles and exchanged hot words. Meanwhile, Suzuki driver Mian Shah took out his pistol and opened indiscriminate fire as a result of which two passers-by sustained bullet injuries and died on the spot.

Bodies of the deceased were rushed to district headquarters hospital for autopsy and later handed over to their relatives.

The City police station, after registering an FIR, has arrested the killer. The dead were identified as Nasser Ahmad, resident of Muswain, and Taus, an Afghan DP, resident of Shakahabad Camp.
