PESHAWAR, Dec 3: Various committees comprising district assembly members have been formed to address the people’s problems and check the efficiency of government departments, Nazim of Mansehra District, Mohammad Azam Khan stated at an Iftar dinner on Saturday.

He asked the people to contact these committees for the disposal of their problems on priority basis.

Mr Azam assured his colleagues that he was trying hard to come up to their expectations.

He said the local government system had proposed ways for carrying out rapid progress of the area and effective and check and balance system on government and development process would be followed.

The district government has put the things on right directions due to which people could feel visible change in their lives, he added.

The Nazim pointed out that the district government was facing some difficulties in the introducing an official procedure.—APP
