KARACHI: Classes at DCET

KARACHI, April 1: The Dawood College of Engineering and Technology (DCET) notified on Tuesday that 1st year (1st term) engineering/architecture classes shall begin on April 7.

The students have been asked to be regular in classes as minimum 75 per cent attendance will be necessary for appearing in examinations.

ADMISSION PROCESS: The admission process in bachelor of engineering at the college was completed on March 31.

According to the chairman of the admission committee, there were 368 seats in various disciplines. Under the self-finance scheme, out of fifty, admissions on twenty-one seats have been completed. Those who have passed the entrance test can apply for admission under the self-finance scheme up to the end of this month, he added.

He said Rs200,000 was being charged for the four-year programme under the self-finance scheme.—PPI/APP
