SUKKUR, March 29: People took out a procession in Kandhkot on Saturday to protest against the US-led attack on Iraq.

The procession started from the Maderssah Darul-Quran and terminated at the Clock Tower after marching through the main road and bazaar.

The protesters blocked the Indus Highway for one hour.

Talking to the protesters, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam secretary- general Khalid Mehmood Soomro, Rasheed Ahmad Siyal and others lashed out at the government for its dubious Iraq policy.

They called upon the world community to term the US and Britain war criminals.
