LAHORE: Promotion cases sent to CM

LAHORE, March 29: The promotion cases of 250 officers cleared by the Punjab Selection Board on Wednesday were sent to the chief minister for final approval here on Saturday.

The PSB, which met here under Chief Secretary Hafeez Akhtar Randhawa, had considered the promotion cases of 250 officers of different provincial departments.

The departments included health, S&GAD, education, population welfare, P&D, livestock, forest, home and labour.

It was the fourth PSB meeting under Mr Randhawa clearing promotion cases of 400 officers of various departments in the previous three sittings.

Prominent among those whose cases were cleared for promotion included Punjab Text Book Board Chairperson Prof Dr Fauzia Saleemi who was allowed BS-21.
