England gets its World Cup campaign underway against Australia at 13:05 GMT on Sunday before taking on South Africa, Pakistan, India and Spain in the 12 team tournament.

England Hockey forward Simon Mantell has sustained a foot injury while training with the England squad in Delhi ahead of the Hero Honda FIH World Cup, which starts on Sunday. As a result of the injury, Simon has been withdrawn from England Hockey's World Cup squad and will be replaced by Hampstead & Westminster defender Dan Fox.

The 25 year old Reading player, brother of England Hockey defender Richard, picked up the injury during an uncapped training match against New Zealand on Thursday evening. He will fly home immediately for further examination and treatment.

26 year old Fox, who made his international debut in May last year, will join up with the rest of the squad in Delhi today.
