About the cancellation of admission of student leader Khalid Mirani, the spokesman clarified his admission was not cancelled due to term back policy but because of his misconduct on the recommendations of the disciplinary committee of the university.

He, however, said his appeal for restoration of admission was pending with the committee appointed by the academic council.

About 75 per cent attendance, the spokesman said this rule had been in vogue since two years and it had also been challenged by the students in the Sindh High Court but the court had also rejected the demand of the students.
