RAWALPINDI, March 28: The judge of anti-terrorists court No 1, Manzoor Ahmed Mirza, on Friday ordered chopping of a hand and foot of a person who had escaped with four other under-trial prisoners after throwing chili powder into the eyes of policemen at district courts.

The court also awarded 12 years of rigorous imprisonment to the convict, Arif, who had also snatched a rifle from a policeman while escaping. He was also fined Rs10,000, and, in case of non-payment, would have to undergo another one-year of jail-term.
