FAISALABAD Bashir Bhola Bhala and Hamid Pehalwan have qualified for the final of Anti Narcotics Rustam-e-Pakistan Dangal by beating their rival wrestlers in semi-final bouts played at Iqbal Stadium here Sunday evening.

 

The final of the Anti Narcotics Rustam-e-Pakistan Dangal will now be held at Lahore on August 31.

 

In first semi-final, Hamid Pehlwan Rustam-e-Multan beat Zahid Pehlwan while in second semi-final Bashir Bhola Bhala downed Azam Lurka.

 

Another 10 bouts were also held in which only six were proved decisive.

 

Senior Punjab Minister Raja Riaz Ahmad witnessed the semi-finals and later performed the traditional “Turban” ceremony.

 

A large number of people witnessed these bouts, as the entry was free.
