MIRPURKHAS, Dec 2: On the directives of Sindh High Court, Hyderabad circuit bench, Sarhari police have lodged a double murder case on Saturday night on the complaint of Ghulam Mustafa Khoso against two DSPs, three SHOs and three others, on charges of killing two villagers viz; Baggo alias Muhabbat Khoso and Ghulam Shabbir Khoso.

The complainant stated that on January 30, 2000, the then DSPs Khalid Mustafa Korai of Shahdadpur and Zulfiqar Ali Zardari of Tando Adam, the then SHOs Atta Muhammad Dahri of Shahdadpur police station, Fazal Haq Chandio of Sarhari police station and Tasawar Jutt of Gupchani police station, alongwith other police officials — Jan Muhammad Zardari, Pandi Zardari and Hashim Zardari — surrounded village Khuda Bux Khoso in the jurisdiction of Sarhari police station, and opened indiscriminate firing at the village, declaring it as an encounter with Notorious dacoit Jam Khoso and killed two villagers Baggo alias Muhabbat Khoso and Ghulam Shabbir Khoso. The above official have been nominated in the FIR as accused. It may be recalled that a petition was filed in the SHC, Hyderabad bench, by the relatives of the deceased villagers and the court ordered registration of FIR under section 302, 34 PPC with Sarhari police station.

INJURED: A 14 year old girl was seriously injured when a coaster (No.7465) hit her at satellite town, while she was on her way to home here on Sunday.

The injured Saleem Khatoon was rushed to civil hospital Mirpurkhas, where she was admitted. The coaster driver Babaro Kaimkhani managed to escape from the scene. In another accident, a six-year old boy was seriously injured at Mirwah town on Friday when a speedy truck hit him, while he was playing across the road. He was rushed to civil hospital Mirpurkhas where he was referred to LMUH, Hyderabad after getting first aid. The injured was identified as Farhan Ali 6, son of Muhammad Iqbal.

Mirwah police have arrested the truck driver and impounded the truck.

BOOKED: Five landlords were booked by Digri police for water theft and creating hurdles in government duty on Sunday. According to FIR landlords Liaquat Ali, Maqsood, Islamuddin and two unknown were involved in water theft by tempering watercourse. When irrigation officials stopped them from water theft, they threatened them of dire consequences.
