Two held with 70kg hashish

KASUR, Dec 2: Phool Nagar police on Sunday claim to have arrested two drug-traffickers and recovered 70 kg hashish and 47 kg opium from their possession near Pul Parnawan.

Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid on Fatima Machan’s house and recovered a huge quantity of contraband. Police arrested Fatima and Muhammad Rashid while their another accomplice Muhammad Rashid managed to escape.

A case has been registered against them.

Meanwhile, thieves took away 2,000 feet wire from near Ayaz Textile Mills, Nand Ka Takya.
