Tax recovery deferred

LARKANA, March 22: The collection of land revenue has been deferred in the four sub-divisions of the Larkana district till April 30 after these areas were declared calamity-hit, revenue official announced here on Saturday.

These sub-divisions are Shahdadkot, Kambar, Warah and Dokri, the district officer (revenue), Larkana, Deedar Baloch said.

The land revenue collection, he said, had been postponed for one-and-a-half-month in these areas, adding that framers and landlords should know that it (the tax) had not been waived.
