KARACHI: Repair of road

KARACHI, March 21: Additional Chief Secretary, planning and development, Ghulam Sarwar Kherro, on Friday presided over a meeting to finalize a Rs100 million project of rehabilitation of road from Kala Pul to the Hino Chowk.

The scheme will be presented for approval before the provincial development working party on March 22. The cost of the project was previously estimated at Rs120 million, however, it has been revised to Rs100 million and work is to be started by the Frontier Works Organization in collaboration with Defence Housing Authority.

The meeting decided to maintain the sharing formula in the light of decisions taken in a meeting presided over by the governor.—PPI
