KARACHI, March 21: The PIA and the Standard Chartered Bank on Thursday entered into an agreement which will have long-term benefits, not only for the two partners but also for their customers.

The agreement was signed by the PIA Chairman Ahmed Saeed and Azhar Hamid, Chief Executive, Standard Chartered Bank.

Speaking on the occasion, the PIA chairman said the agreement will provide the following major benefits to the customers:

PIA, upon enrolment of the Co-brand card members to the Award Plus Program, would give 500 bonus points in addition to the 500 points as per its Frequent Flyer Program Policy.

Gold Co-brand card members could avail the business class check-in counter facility, even when they were travelling in economy class.

Gold co-brand card membrs would enjoy the facility of using the designated PIA business class lounges within Pakistan.

The Chief Executive Standard Chartered Bank, Azhar Hamid described the signing ceremony a landmark event and said the initiative was a further proof of bank’s commitment to both the economic development of Pakistan and to the customer’s convenience.—APP
