Vegetable trader kidnapped

KHAIRPUR, Sept 11 Four armed men kidnapped a Faisalabad-based trader of fruits and vegetables from a village near Jalal Chowdagi, Faiz Ganj taluka, on Thursday night.

They attacked an Otaq in Wajid Faqeer village and kidnapped Irfan Arain, More Shar and Hameed Rajpar who were staying as guests.

Later, they released More Shar and Hameed Rajpar, but took away Irfan Arain. Irfan supplies vegetables and fruits from here to Faisalabad.

They also held hostage a police head constable, Ghulam Rasool Shar, in-charge of Jalal Chowdagi police picket, and snatched a motorcycle, a mobile phone and other valuables from him.—BoC
