Help to NGOs assured

PESHAWAR, March 18: MNA Maulana Mohammad Sadiq has said that non-government organizations would be extended support to improve the conditions of Fata people.

Speaking as chief guest at a function held in connection with distribution of relief goods by the Kamore Development Organization (KDO) at Katkot village in Bajaur Agency on Tuesday, the MNA lauded the efforts of the NGOs for the betterment of people of backward areas like Bajaur Agency.

On the occasion, relief goods were distributed among 400 local families.

The KDO President, Dr Abdul Hafiz, said the NGO had made elaborate plans to carry out projects in Bajaur Agency to provide health and education facilities to the tribesmen.

He said it was impossible to help theor people without carrying out welfare projects.
