Killer arrested

TOBA TEK SINGH, March 16: Gojra city police arrested on Sunday the alleged killer of Lala Muhammad Akram, a gunman of MNA Amjad Ali Warraich.

Liaqat Ali had shot dead Akram when he was on his way home from Warraich house two months ago.

Police had also registered a case of abetment against former PPP MNA Ilyas Jat, who is on bail from the district and sessions court.

The enmity between the Ilyas Jat and Warraich groups has left more than two dozen people killed during last three decades.
