KARACHI: Efforts for peace praised

KARACHI, March 16: Senator Nisar Memon said here on Sunday that Karachi has regained its glory of the past due to effective policies of the government.

He was speaking at the launching ceremony of poet Mirza Asim Baig’s book — Meri Shairee.

“It is a good sign that the elected government is following the policies framed for the best interest of the country.”

Mr Memon appealed to thinkers and poets to create awareness and promote patriotism among the people. Mr Baig presented his collection of poetry to Mr Memon.—APP
