KARACHI Leader of Awami Tehrik, Rasool Baksh Palijo has accused the government of jeopardizing national sovereignty and taking instructions from foreign powers.

He was addressing supporters at the end of a long march in Karachi. The march started on Oct.8 in Jacobabad and travelled through the province before reaching the port city.

Thousands of supporters of Awami Tehrik, Jamat-e-Islami and other nationalist parties were present on the occasion.

Speakers criticized government members for benefitting from the national reconciliation ordinance and called for a public trial of members of parliament.

Participants also stressed the need to empower provinces. Qadir Magsi warned that if the government remained ignorant of the plight of the people, revolution would naturally become a reality.
