KARACHI, March 16: Singer Zoheb Hassan has been given an award by the UN Association of Pakistan, says a press release.

He has been given the award for his continued efforts in providing relief and promoting an atmosphere of peace in the city by organizing mega festivals like Sindh Festival 2001, Sindh Sea Festival 2003, etc.

The World Federation of UN Associations is a part of the UN system and has a membership of 121 countries that seek to solve national problems through civil society and a political initiative when the government fails to deliver.

The president of UNA, Pakistan, has congratulated Zoheb on the good work he has been doing and hoped that he will continue his efforts in the future.
