ISLAMABAD, March 15: Four directors of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) have manoeuvred suspension of their transfer orders, a source in the authority told Dawn.

The source said the interior ministry through a notification had ordered immediate transfer of director roads-I Pervaiz Cheema, director roads-II Akbar Nawaz Khan, director W&S directorate Rafique Abbasi and director laboratory Shafaat Ali Khan, after completion of three-year service at the present posts.

When contacted, a deputy director in the authority’s personnel directorate, Sharif Qaiser, told this reporter that the authority had not received any notification from the interior ministry in this regard. He denied any such move in the near future.
