PESHAWAR, March 13: Shaikh Zayed Islamic Centre, University of Peshawar, would begin celebrations for its 20th year from March 15, a press release said.

UAE Ambassador Ali Mohammad Al-Shams, would preside over the inaugural session, while Education Minister Zubeida  Jalal would be the chief guest.

A seminar on “ Why the Ummah lagged  behind in scientific development and it can be put on the path of scientific development” has been scheduled for March 18. It will be presided over by Governor Iftikhar Hussain Shah. Noted scientists Dr Abdullah Sadiq and Dr Ahmad Ghafar Ghazi would present research papers.
