PTCL blues

Published March 5, 2010

I SUBSCRIBED to the much-publicised PTCL Smart TV which was installed on Feb11 at my residence. Before that I had subscribed to an exclusive Fibre Optic Landline bearing No 34490356 to get a clear transmission of Smart TV as advised by PTCL officials.

We have been receiving distorted pictures and broken pixels at a regular interval which gives quite a headache. The only option is to switch it off. We have run from pillar to post making complaints to all concerned but to no avail.

PTCL should not launch a service if they do not have the requisite technical backup and spare the consumers with the agony that comes along with the package. It is ironic that they call it 'Smart' TV.
