Rebate sought

KARACHI, March 10: The chairman, Falahi Anjuman Wholesale Vegetable Market, Super Highway, Haji Shahjehan has urged the government to provide rebate of Re1 per kg on potato and onion so that exports of these commodities could be enhanced.

In a meeting with director general, Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Sikandar Ali Kherio, he said exporters were demanding the rebate to offset the impact of war risk surcharge, the shipping companies were expected to charge.
