IT was very sad to read that renovation work of Wazir Mansion, the birthplace of the Quaid-i-Azam, has stopped. Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah was the founder of Pakistan and for his birthplace the government is not allocating funds or trying to restore it, which is very upsetting.
If the federal government can approve Rs800m for the Benazir Bhutto Park located near the Boating Basin, it can immediately give Rs3m for the restoration of Wazir Mansion so that the Quaid's birthplace could be restored before Dec 25.
