CSS exams

Published September 20, 2010

This is apropos of the letter, “CSS exam age restriction” (Sept 11). I second the writer's opinion that politicians and policy makers take prompt decisions when their own vested interests are involved but they do not consider the grievances of the common man. Middle class and under-privileged students have been demanding for an age relaxation in the CSS exam.

The issue has been much highlighted through print media but all the broadcast has been falling on deaf ears and all efforts have gone down the drain with no positive outcome.

I request the Prime Minister to take immediate notice of the issue and relax the upper age limit for the coming CSS exam.
