DADU: Tapedars boycott fieldwork

DADU, March 7: Tapedars and Kotars of the district boycotted fieldwork and held a demonstration outside local press club on Friday against the arrest of Tapedar Association chief Imdad Ali Buledi.

Speaking at the rally, the district secretary of the association, Abdul Rasheed Arain and others warned that if the Jacobabad police did not release the arrested Tapedars, they would continue protest and would not collect revenue in the district.

COLLEGE: A large number of Nazims, Naib Nazims, councillors and residents took out a procession here on Friday against the local degree college principal.

Speaking outside the press club where the procession ended, Nazim, union council-II, Nisar Ahmed Shaikh, alleged that the principal of the college had embezzled hundreds of thousands of rupees.
