Cash, gold taken away

LAHORE, March 4: Robbers and thieves made off with cash, gold ornaments and vehicles in nine strikes from different parts of the city on Tuesday.

Mrs Mushtaq and her mother were on their way home when two gunmen held them up along Walton Road and took away jewellery and cash worth Rs200,000.

Three armed men took away cash, gold and valuables worth Rs100,000 from the house of Munawwar.

Shaukat Ali was deprived of cash, a wristwatch and a cell phone by four robbers in Chauburji Park.

Three dacoits forced their entry into the house of Ehsan Ali in Baghbanpura and fled after looting cash and jewellery worth Rs60,000.

A double-cabin and three motorcycles were driven away from Johar Town, Sanda, Harbanspura and Mozang, respectively.
