KARACHI, March 4: The city government has set up a control room in the Civic Centre to attend to public complaints with regard to civic amenities such as water, sewerage, electricity and sanitation, during Muharram.

Officials of the concerned departments will be present in the control room round-the-clock and will take prompt suitable measures to redress public complaints.

DCO Mir Hussain Ali has said that senior officers of each concerned department should supervise their staff and operations.

He directed the officials that a comprehensive report of all the complaints and actions taken by the control room should be submitted to him on a daily basis.

The control room will be headed by DO Civil Defence, city government, Col Ehtesham.
