Couple die in accident

BAHAWALPUR, March 3: A bride and her groom were killed while three others were seriously injured in a head-on collision near Baghdad Mor on Monday.

The driver of a speeding Islamia University bus lost control over the steering while negotiating a turn and collided head-on with a car. As a result, bride Shamaila and her groom Hashim were killed on the spot.

The condition of bride’s brother Asim Raza, aunt Nasreen and cousin Rahman Hafiz was stated to be serious at the BVH. — Correspondent
