PPP team meets Shahbaz

NEW YORK, March 3: A Pakistan People’s Party (USA) delegation met the former chief minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif, at a hotel on Sunday.

The delegation led by Dr A Hasan president of PPP (North America) conveyed a message from the PPP chairperson, Benazir Bhutto, who is also in the US. Ms Bhutto while wishing PML-N leader speedy recovery expressed hope that he would return to active politics soon, a spokesman for Sharif said here.

The spokesman did not rule out the possibility of the two leaders meeting here soon.—Correspondent
