CHARSADDA, March 1: Senior minister of NWFP, Sirajul Haq, said on Friday that the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal government would bring drastic changes in the judicial system to bring it in conformity with the teachings of Quran  and Sunnah.

Speaking to prisoners at the sub-jail here, he said the judicial system needed immediate reforms because people had to wait for years for getting justice.

Mr Haq claimed that the government would make justice accessible to everyone without any hardship.

He said the government would constitute Islahi Jirgas at village level to deal with petty cases.

The minister said the government would introduce reforms in the jail system so that the prisoners after completing their terms could become good citizens.—Correspondent
