KARACHI, Feb 28: A simply majestic and superb show to pay glorious tributes to some of the living legends of Karachi enthralled the audience at Defence Authority Public School (O&A levels) at the 5th Merit Award Ceremony of the school.

Begum Afshan Ghhazali, wife of the Commander 5 Corps, was the chief guest of the function which was also attended by Jehangir Khan,Mushtaq Ahmed Yusufi, Zia Mohiuddin, Javed Jabbar, Obaidullah Baig and Guljee.

On the occasion, Brig Asif Ghazali, Administrator DHA, paid rich tributes to the living legends whom he termed as national heroes, and said that they provide inspirational values and motivation to our youth.

Earlier, principal of the school Mrs Iffat Rashid, highlighted outstanding achievements of her school.

In the end, the talented students were awarded merit awards and prizes.—PPI
