NANKANA SAHIB, Nov 28: Leaders of the visiting Sikh pilgrims on Wednesday expressed satisfaction over the maintenance of shrines by the Pakistan government.

Talking to APP, Sharmond Gurdwara Parbandak Committee, Amritsar, additional secretary Sardar Dalmeek Singh, leader of 1200 Indian Sikh Yatrees, Sardar Narpal Singh Bhullar, leader of 450 Yatrees, Kuldip Singh Chadha, Leader of 80 Yatrees, Sardar Sardol Singh (Poonch) J&K, leader of 16 pilgrims and Khalra mission committee, Amritsar, general-secretary, Sardar Balwindar Singh Jhabaal, lauded the useful additions to several gurdawaras particularly in Janam Asthan.

“The government of Pakistan is generously spending on the upkeep and renovation of gurdawaras for which the Sikh nation was thankful,” they added.

They said they condemned killing of minority communities in any part of the world.

Religious ceremonies started last night after the arrival of Indian Sikh Yatrees in Gurdwara Janam Asthan.—APP
