One killed in accident

MINGORA, Feb 27: A land cruiser ran over pedestrians in Barikot on Wednesday, killing one man and injuring two others.

The land cruiser (LOH-2662), driven by Azam Khan, a resident of Amankot, hit Samiullah, Shujaat Ali, and Aftab of Barikot.

Samiullah died and the two others suffered injuries. Shujaat’s condition was stated to be serious.

The injured were admitted to a Peshawar hospital.

The driver has been arrested  and the vehicle impounded by the Rahimabad police.
