LONDON, Feb 27: The International Grains Council’s forecast of recovering world wheat production in 2003 slipped slightly, due mainly to a cut in its projections for the US wheat crop.
In its monthly report on Thursday, the IGC said world wheat output for 2003 would be 595 million tons, down two million from its last estimate, but up 30 million from 2002.—Reuters
