KARACHI, Feb 28: Unknown bandits robbed a house of cash and valuables worth Rs8 million in Gulistan-i-Jauhar on Tuesday night.

A family member told Dawn that between 7 and 8 pm on Monday night when they were away from their home, unknown persons broke into their apartment in Haroon Royal City, Block-17, collected jewellry, cash and other valuables and escaped.

They also wrote on the walls and the glass of the dressing table “Die you Americans die” the family said. The family had lived in the US for some 20 years.

An FIR (87/2003) was lodged at the Gulistan-i-Jauhar police station.
