Four killed in accident

KHAIRPUR, Nov 28: Four people were killed and 13 others were injured in a head-on collision between a wagon and a trailer on the National Highway near Babarloi, some 10 kms off here, on Wednesday.

A wagon (R-103), heading towards Khairpur, collided head-on with a trailer (TET-0924) as a result of which four people were killed on the spot and 13 injured.

Three of the dead have been identified as Lutf Ali Ansari (wagon driver), Ramesh Chand, and Wazir Memon. The name of the fourth could not be ascertained.

The thirteen who have been injured are Altaf Memon, Ishaq Jalbani, Rasheed Ahmed Kanboh, Shaukat Araeen, Saleem Khuhro, Sikandar Ansari, Ali Dinnox Mallah, Abdul Haq Bhayo, Hakim Kalor, Hassan Kalhoro, Nawab Bhatti, Kashif Abbasi, and Ms Naseeban Jalbani.

All the injured have been admitted at the Civil Hospital Khairpur.
