Insanitary condition plagues Hafizabad

Published February 26, 2003

HAFIZABAD, Feb 25: The tehsil municipal administrations are paying no heed to deteriorating sanitary conditions in Hafizabad and Pindi Bhattian, according to district council Nazims.

The Nazims informed the house that overflowing drains, gutters and heaps of garbage on roads had made the lives of citizens miserable.

The insanitary conditions were even more worse in rural towns like Jalalpur Bhattian, Rasulpur Tarar and Sukheke, they said.

District Nazim Col Ali Ahmad Awan (retired) said the TMA officials did not comply with his instructions in this regard.
