Pesco asks govt to pay dues

HARIPUR, Feb 24: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has asked the government departments to pay their outstanding bills by Feb 27, otherwise their connections would be disconnected, it is learnt through official sources.

According to a spokesman of the office of the local Pesco Executive  Engineer Malik Siddiq Awan, the disconnection notices to all the defaulting departments had been served.

The defaulters would have to face action under Pesco’s rules after the stipulated time, an official said.—Correspondent
