THATTA, Feb 22: Four Pakistan Muslim League-Q activists were been booked by the Thatta police on Friday night for stealing electricity and manhandling a Hesco SDO and making him hostage.

According to the FIR, lodged by the SDO, Hesco, Imran Shaikh, he and two linemen, during a surprise visit of the ward-4, found that electricity was being stolen through Kunda system by some residents, including the president of the PML-Q women wing, Thatta district, Neelam Abbasi.

He disconnected the power supply and warned Ms Neelam of legal action.

The PML-Q activist called her neighbours, took the SDO to her house, manhandled and abused him and made him hostage for more than two hours.

Ms Neelam alleged that the SDO disconnected electric connection of a poor woman, Shahnaz, and Rafiq Khumbhat in her area. She claimed that she only reprimanded the SDO—Correspondent.
