KARACHI: Coalition parties meet

KARACHI, Feb 22: A parliamentary meeting of the coalition parties of the Sindh Government was held in the Sindh Assembly premises on Saturday.

Presided over by Sindh Chief Minister Sardar Ali Muhammad Mahar and attended by 90 MPAs, the meeting discussed the agenda for the current Sindh Assembly session .

The chief minister directed all the provincial ministers to issue directives to respective secretaries for timely response to queries raised in the house. He said the Rs5 million releazed to all the MPAs must be spent appropriately.

The MPAs informed the chief minister of the development works in their respective areas. They assured the CM that the amount granted would be spent on construction of roads, schemes of education, health, safe drinking water and other basic necessities.

The chief minister expressed the confidence that the coalition would last long and make efforts for the prosperity of the province.—PPI
