PM, president condole with Khatami

ISLAMABAD, Feb 20: President Gen Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali on Thursday expressed their grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in the crash involving an Iranian air craft.

The president, in a message to the Iranian President Syed Mohammad Khatami, said: “ While expressing our sympathies at the tragic loss of so many precious lives, I would also like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.”

Prime Minister Jamali said the government and people joined him in extending condolences to the bereaved families and the government and people of Iran.”—APP
