KARACHI, Feb 15: The Sindh Excise & Taxation Department has extended till Feb 28 the last date for depositing the motor vehicle tax without payment of fine.

Minister: Taking notice of a letter to the editor regarding Tax Token published in Saturday’s edition of a newspaper, Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation Rauf Siddiqi directed the staff of Excise and Taxation to work for providing relief to the people.

In this regard, the director for the excise and taxation (Admn) clarified that tax of all vehicles was being collected at the motor registration wing, Civic Centre.

He said tax of vehicles registered outside Karachi could also be paid here. Complaints of non-cooperation of the staff concerned could be lodged to the director for E&T (Admn) on telephone numbers 9215768 and 9215767.
