KHAIRPUR, Feb 15: The shortage of water in Sindh will soon be overcome and no political pressure will be tolerated towards curbing of the water theft.

This was stated by provincial minister for irrigation and power Pir Sadruddin Shah Rashidi while talking to a delegation of newsmen at Hadal Shah in Kingri taluka the other day.

He said that efforts were being made to ensure the availability of irrigation water to tail-end growers, adding that growers should identify people involved in the water theft, enabling the authorities to take strict action against them.

Mr Rashidi said that efforts were being made to reorganize the Pakistan Muslim League-F.

According top details, four persons attacked Mumtaz Ali, son of Alam Khan Soho, and beat him with iron rods while he (Mumtaz) was sitting in a local hotel. He was rushed to a local hospital and was later transferred to a hospital in Nawabshah where he succumbed to his injuries.
