Iranian FM due today

ISLAMABAD, Nov 27: Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Khirazi will be arriving here on Wednesday, to discuss the support of both the countries for the formation of a representative government in Afghanistan, Foreign Office Spokesman confirmed.

He said Pakistan and Iran were constantly in touch as far as Afghanistan was concerned.

Both the countries would support the UN in the formation of a broad-based,multi-ethnic and representative government in Afghanistan, he added.

Mr Riaz said there had been frequent exchanges of high-level delegations to discuss bilateral relations which always remained good.

The Iranian Foreign Minister will leave the next day.—APP
