HYDERABAD, Feb 14: Eidul Azha was celebrated here on Wednesday with traditional festivity.

Different animals, including camels, were sacrificed in several localities of Hyderabad and professional and non- professional butchers did a roaring business.

Main Eid congregations were held at the new and old Eidgahs at the municipal garden and cantonment, respectively.

Eid prayers were also offered in the mosques of different localities and gardens.

Hyderabad District Nazim Dr Makhdoom Rafiquzzaman offered Eid prayers at the new Eidgah where he met a large number of people.

RECRUITMENT: Two teams of the artillery centre, record wing, Attock, will visit different districts of Sindh for recruitment of youth in the Pakistan Army.

According to programme released here on Friday, the teams will visit recruitment office, Sukkur, on Feb 16 and 17; the district council, Dadu, on 16; Janbaz Training Centre, Nawabshah, on 17; the district council, Sanghar, and recruitment centre, Hyderabad, on 18; the district council, Mirpurkhas, and Army Welfare Sugar Mills, Badin, on 19 and Malir Cantonment, Karachi, on 20.

Desirous candidates are advised to bring original and photostat copies of their matriculation certificates at 8am at the above-mentioned places.

Candidates having domicile of Balochistan are also advised to appear for recruitment as separate seats have been reserved for them.

The candidates will be required to appear in test and they will be issued appointment letters on the same day.
