HYDERABAD, Nov 27: The provincial Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami, Maulana Asadullah Bhutto, has said that the US President, George W. Bush, was Raja Dahar of the 21st century who had converted the state terrorism into international terrorism.
He was addressing Youm-i-Babul Islam function here on Monday.
He said that 1400 years back Raja Dahar was involved in piracy which later turned into international terrorism.
He said today President Bush was also performing the role of an international terrorist and in his opinion each and every practising Muslim was a terrorists.
He regretted that President Gen Pervez Musharraf had failed to perform the expected role and lost the golden opportunity of becoming Mohammad Bin Qasim of the 21st century.
He said Benazir Bhutto had gone “on pilgrimage to India,” which was a part of the US agenda. He said Benazir Bhutto was performing the role of an American agent.
He said Altaf Hussain was also planning to visit India to complete the US agenda.
Maulana Bhutto said that begging India, which had disintegrated Pakistan, for the restoration of democracy in Pakistan spoke volumes for the political bankruptcy of Benazir and added that she had gone too far in her lust for power. He, however, said that Benazir could not achieve power by appeasing the US.
He deplored the government decision not to declare public holiday on the 10th of Ramazan and to declare holiday on May 1 and said that it appeared that instead of introducing Islamic values in the country, the government was trying to thrust western values.
He demanded of the government to declare 10th of Ramazan as a public holiday so that the younger generation should know that Pakistan was an Islamic country.
