QUETTA, Feb 11: The Balochistan Governor, Lt-Gen Abdul Qadir (retired), has directed the inspector-general of police to make all possible efforts for the early arrest of the killers of four Hindu traders.

The governor issued these instructions on Monday during a visit to the residences of deceased people. He expressed sorrow over their death and offered condolences to the family members.

He asked the police to ascertain the motive behind the incident so that in future such incidents could be avoided. He said the government would promote and give awards to those policemen who would arrest the culprits.

The governor assured all possible help to the bereaved family members and said the government had always provided full protection to the minorities living in the province and would also do the same in future.

Meanwhile, a delegation of the Jamhoori Watan Party visited the victims’ residences.
